What a fun afternoon we had yesterday! Ryan's friend from work, Alyssa, invited us to her property in Lucas, Texas, where she has several horses including 2 miniature horses. All 4 of us got to ride! It was really special for us and especially for Matthew and Hallie Claire. Ryan's associate veterinarian Christine Deeke and her 8 1/2 month old baby Kai got to come too. We were thankful for the gorgeous weather yesterday.

Hallie Claire could have ridden all day! Thanks, Annie, for letting us borrow the pink boots from Hattie! Nonnie brought them to us right on time.
The children got to finger paint on Bullet! He was such a sweet horse to let them do that.

We had Nonnie and Grandad over for dinner and a rehearsal for Matthew's talent show song. We will be performing "Sing A Song" by the Carpenters with Nonnie on her flute and Grandad on trumpet adding extra harmony and countermelodies! Auditions are next week, so we'll let you know how it went.
